Exhibition Overview:
This exhibition is structured into four thematic units—"Zhou Rituals Uniting the Land," "Qin Unifying the Six States," "Han Flourishing in All Endeavors," and "Tang Embracing All Directions"—to comprehensively present the civilizational evolution from the ritual foundations of the Zhou Dynasty, the institutional unification of the Qin, the far-reaching influence of the Han, to the inclusive spirit of the Tang.

From the establishment of ritual and music systems to institutional innovations, from territorial unification to cultural integration, the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties each contributed their defining voices to the enduring symphony of Chinese civilization—a civilization characterized by diversity within unity and continuous renewal.

The exhibition brings together over a hundred precious artifacts from 17 museums across China. These treasures span millennia: from the mysterious and solemn bronze ware of the Western Zhou Dynasty, to the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army of the Qin Dynasty; from the gold-threaded jade burial suit symbolizing the Han emperors' belief in an afterlife mirroring life itself, to the dazzling tri-colored glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty. These artifacts are not merely witnesses to history but also carriers of civilization. Through their silent language, they narrate the glorious journey of the Chinese nation—from the inception of ritual and music systems to institutional reforms, and from cultural blending to open inclusivity. They showcase the grandeur and unique charm of the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties.
