Exhibition Overview:
This exhibition brings together more than one hundred of the most representative artifacts (sets), traveling across vast distances to be showcased in Zhejiang for the first time on a large-scale and systematic basis.

The exhibition unfolds across three thematic sections. The first section, "An Extraordinary Archaeological Discovery," details the historical evolution of Famen Temple and the revelation of its underground crypt. The second, "Splendor of the Golden Age," focuses on the daily life of the Tang era—clothing, food, housing, and transportation—through exquisite cultural relics that reflect the grandeur of the period. The third, "The Spiritual Realm of the Tang," delves into the spiritual world of Tang people through their religious beliefs, literary works, and funerary customs.

Guided by the discovery of the Famen Temple crypt, the exhibition first reconstructs the material life of Tang society before exploring its profound spiritual dimensions. Through scientific curation and thoughtful presentation, it vividly brings the social landscape of the Tang Dynasty to life, offering visitors an immersive experience of the enduring charm of this golden age of Chinese civilization.
