Bringing Peace to All Under Heaven: The Qin Dynasty's Unification of China
The exhibition uses two characters - "Hefu"and "Jing" - in the bamboo slips of Yunmeng to show the years of endeavour of the Qin people. Through three parts, the exhibition tells the story how thirty-five generations of monarchs spent hundreds of years to complete the reunification of China. It also shows how China's first emperor Qin Shi Huang created a complete system of state administration that had a profound impact on China's political system for more than 2,000 years. After Qin Dynasty, the implemented social governance measures to consolidate unity, which still affects our lives today.
