Exhibition Overview:This exhibition, organized in collaboration with 9 cultural and museum institutions from domestic and foreign provinces, showcases 135 groups comprising a total of 154 precious cultural relics that reflect the spirit of Guan Yu (also known as Guan Gong). The exhibition includes various statues of Guan Yu, presenting a more comprehensive and diverse image of Guan Yu and highlighting the rich cultural connotations associated with him. The exhibition is divided into four parts, tracing the historical development of Guan Yu and the spread of Guan Yu culture from Shanxi to the rest of the world. These parts are interconnected in terms of their timeline and narrative coherence. Within each section, relevant cultural artifacts such as sculptures, paintings, calligraphy, opera relics, and scene artifacts from Jiezhou Guandi Temple and Changping Guandi Temple are included to comprehensively reflect Guan Yu culture.
