Exhibition Name:  Nurtured by the Same Water——Bronze Age Civilizations in the Yangtze River Basin
Exhibition Period:February 6, 2024-June 2, 2024
Exhibition Venue:GuangDong Museum
Exhibition Overview:The exhibition brings together 137 precious artifacts (or sets) from nearly 10 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Basin, with Class I cultural relics accounting for nearly 40% of the total. The collection is vast and diverse. The exhibition follows the regional cultures of the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yangtze River as its main theme, focusing on the unique qualities and distinctive styles of the three major cultural spheres of the Shang and Zhou periods—Bashu, Jingchu, and Wu Yue. At the same time, it highlights how these cultures, while distinct, also interacted and influenced each other, showcasing the vibrant and interconnected civilization of the time.
